2016 TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES ROSÉ

Columbia Valley

(Syrah 61%, Mourvedre 12%, Grenache 10%, Cabernet Sauvignon 7%, Cinsault 7%, Counoise 3%). Given Washington’s warmest vintage on record, Charles Bieler and Charles Smith picked earlier than usual in order to capture fresh fruit flavors and invite the tension brought by a touch of herbal and under ripe notes.

2015 TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES

CABERNET BLEND

Columbia Valley

(70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah). All grapes are from the Columbia Valley with the principal vineyard sources being High River and Goose Ridge. The Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented with whole berries in stainless tanks for both primary and secondary fermentations, while the Syrah was fermented whole cluster. This resulted in a wine that is bold, rich, textured, but not over the top. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and earthy, savory notes of tobacco and herbs, vanilla, and cocoa. Tannins are elegant and refined.
