2016 GAZERRA PINOT GRIGIO

Sicily, IGT

100% Pinot Grigio from vineyard sites located between Palermo and Salemi in Western Sicily. The wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel to retain freshness and minerality. Crisp, clean and refreshing with aromas of grapefruit and lemons on the palate, joined by a delicious briny note on the finish. The vineyard is sustainably farmed and the grapes are hand picked under supervision of winemaker Mattia Filipi.

2015 GAZERRA NERO D’AVOLA

(85% Nero d’Avola, 15% Syrah). Grapes are grown in Western Sicily on high altitude vineyard sites located between Palermo and Salemi, and averaging 400 meters above sea level. Considered one of the best red wine grapes of Sicily. Also known as “Calabrese”, suggesting origins in Calabria on the nearby mainland. Rich red fruit notes of pomegranate and floral dried cherry lead to juicy ripe plums and just a hint of oak on the palate. Medium-bodied with supple tannins.

2016 GAZERRA ROSATO

 Sicily

Produced from 100% Nero d’Avola in Western Sicily. 80% direct to press and 20% pressed after 24 hours on the skins, giving the wine a deep rose color with notes of fresh berries, savory aromas, and refreshing acidity on the palate.

2015 FAIENZA SANGIOVESE

Emilia- Romagna

100% Sangiovese. In the local dialect FAIENZA is the name of the town Emilia-Romagna region where the wine is grown and produced.  This estate grown Sangiovese was macerated for 10-15 days and fermented in stainless steel. The wine was aged in stainless steel tanks as well, enabling the wine to reveal bright fruit and perfumed aromas without long bottle age. 13% ALC

2015 DEL BUONO SANGIOVESE

Tuscany

100% Sangiovese. Roberto del Buono organically farms his 8 Ha estate in the Val de Chiana. It is a hillside vineyard with alluvial soils at approximately 450 meters above sea level. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, this wine has aromas of dark fruits. The palate presents racy acidity, with an elegant texture and notes of sour cherries.
